SHIMMER POLISH REVIEW (PART 1)

About 2 weeks ago I received a Facebook message from Shimmer Polish informing me that I was one of the winners of her Facebook Giveaway. I was so excited! But I had entered so many Facebook Giveaways between the end of December to the end of January that I did not remember entering her Giveaway (which I did tell her), so I wasn't sure what the prize was. When I asked her, she asked if I would like a giveaway polish or a few to review on my blog. So I told her I would love to review a few…thinking maybe 3 polishes. She sent me 14!! I was so freakin excited! :P Who wouldn't be!?

So because of my last 2 lengthy posts I decided to split this one up into 2 different posts. They will both still be picture heavy but the polishes are so Gorgeous I couldn't help it :P So I hope you enjoy!

**These products were sent to me for review. Please see my Disclosure policy located in the tabs above.**

Kathrine is a gorgeous Bronze glitter. This one really caught my eye when I first saw it :) I love this one because it is so unique. I like that the glitters in this one are small and all the same size.
2-3 coats

Bella is a beautiful dark red with a little bit of silver glitter. The first coat I applied was very sheer…I actually didn't really like the way it looked with the first 2 coats of polish, but by the 3rd I was in love. And I decided to add a 4th coat for a little more depth.
3-4 coats

This one was my immediate favorite before swatching any of them. The color is absolutely stunning! I don't know how anyone could not be drawn to this color. I may have to do a Valentine's day design with it ;)

Airriann is kind of a coral/orange-ish looking glitter (at least that's what I think). Shimmer Polish describes it as a Pale Pink Mix…it's a very unique color, and it was actually kind of hard to pare up with a base color. I don't know if I like the base color I chose…it could also be my camera having a hard time with the pink and red polishes, I'm not sure. But this color is not my favorite.
One thing I do like about this polish is that not only does it have round and hex glitters, but also some square glitters. I am a fan of that :P
1 coat over Julep, Nan

Karen is another one of my favorites. This purple glitter has about 3 different sizes of round and hex glitters, some purple and some rainbow.
1 coat over Sinful Colors, Sweet Tooth

I have always liked purple! And surprisingly, I don't really have any purple glitters. So it's exciting that not only have I expanded my collection, but I've also added alot of new polishes that I don't have anything similar to.

Jennifer is a light blue glitter. As you can see there are some other colors in this one as well, which I like…and if you've been following me for awhile you probably know how much I like my blue polishes :) So of course I really like this one!
1-2 coats over Sinful Colors, Sugar Rush

Courtney is a rainbow glitter with an orange/pink base color. This is a really fun color, but this one is another one that is not my favorite. It's still a very pretty glitter, and I love the big blue glitters! ...but it's pretty low on my list compared to all of the other colors I received.
2-3 coats

And last one for this post, Sarah (insert googly eyes here lol). I think it's safe to say this is my favorite of them all! It's a gorgeous blue/green glitter with purple and silver glitters throughout. This is another one that has round, hex and square glitters. I could stare at this polish all day long! Not only is it blue, but the purple glitters really just grab my attention! I think she hit a home run with this polish!
2-3 coats over Sinful Color, Sweet Nothing

If you haven't seen or heard of Shimmer Polish before I have to tell you that the thing that really sets these polishes apart from any others is the fact that they are creations inspired by people. So each polish is named after the person that inspired it…Isn't that awesome! :) Shimmer must really have some beautiful people in her life :)

If you would like to read more about it you can check out how she got started and what inspires her here. You can also check out her Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/ShimmerPolish for more info and pictures.
