BORN PRETTY STORE NAIL STAMPING PLATE REVIEW - BP L015 & BP L020

Happy Memorial Day Weekend! I hope you are having a great weekend, and hopefully with your family and friends. My husband and I decided to go have breakfast this morning at a place here in Texas called Cafe Java :) It was wonderful! I told him the other day that I've never been able to answer the question "What is your favorite type of food?" when I'm asked that...but I thought about it the other day and I can answer it now. It's Breakfast Food :P French toast, bacon, eggs, sausage, cinnamon rolls, etc. you name it, I love it!

Anywho, today I have some fun nail designs to share with you guys! These are all stamped designs from the new Born Pretty Store Stamping Plates BP L015 & BP L020. BP L015 is a Floral plate (which are typically my favorites) and BP L020 is a Lace plate.

I have loved Lace nails for so long, but I've never found any images that I've loved...until I received this plate! This plate has 14 full images and 7 smaller images, and they are the most perfect lace images you will ever find! (You'll see what I mean in a minute).

Up first is a Floral image from plate BP L015. I created this right after I received 8 of the 10 new polishes from Liquid Sky Lacquer's new Cabo Collection. I have over 600 polishes and I did not have any neons!!! How is that possible!!?? ...but I finally fixed that, and I've been using the polishes pretty much constantly since I received them :P

Polishes used: Liquid Sky Lacquer Private Charter, Cabo Wabo, Jalapeno Business, The Passion Club, No Strippers, Please, Meet 'Cha at the Pink Kitty, Pass the Salsa, CATION: Party in Progress and Funky Fingers Gesso.

I loved this design in person, but the photos just didn't do it justice.

The polishes used: Liquid Sky Lacquer Pass the Salsa, Meet 'Cha at the Pink Kitty, No Strippers, Please, The Passion Club and Fancy Gloss Midnight Moon. Image from plate BP L020.

I had a fun time coming up with this design. Along with receiving the stamping plates I also received these cute nail charms. It is all 1 charm, and even though it's one of the cutest charms I have ever had, it really isn't a practical, every day wear kind of charm. I have very arched nails so I could literally only wear it to take photos and then it snagged on something and fell off, but If you had flat nail beds I think you'd probably have more success with it.

Polishes used: Funky Fingers Gesso, Dark Knight, Royal Polish Carnation Creation and OPI LOVE.ANGEL.MUSIC.BABY. This stamp is the exact same one from the second design (shown above).

And last up is this beautiful design, that may be one of my favorite Lace designs ever! I came up with this design pretty fast last night and I love the way it turned out.

Polishes used: Funky Fingers Gesso, Dark Knight and Sinful Colors Tempest. This image is from plate BP L020.

These plates are amazing and stamp so well! I am very impressed with them! There are a lot of fine lined images and I have not had any problems with picking up any of them. So I highly recommend these plates! They are now 2 of my very favorite plates to work with!

ADVANCED STAMPING NAIL ART/KOI FISH NAIL ART

Hello again! I am super excited about this nail design! :D

This nail design was thought up over about 1-2 months! I did a 'Bestie Twin Nails' with my good friend Babi (AKA ColorSutraa).

We first decided we really wanted to use the new Bundle Monster Secret Garden Stamping Plates, then we picked plates we both liked and then it just kind of evolved from there.

The plate we decided on was BM 725. The polishes I used were Sinful Colors Snow Me White, Innocent, Exotic Green, Savage, Julep Bess and Essie Fear or Desire.

I used the Advanced Stamping Technique, and if you've never seen/heard of that, you can watch one of my YouTube Tutorials here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mot-Sa--baA

If you enjoy Nail Blogs, or even Beauty Blogs, I would definitely suggest you check out and follow ColorSutraa, her Blog is full of fun stuff!

LONDONTOWN LACQUER SPRING POLISH LINE - SWATCH & REVIEW

Good afternoon Lovelies! :D I'm so happy to be back sharing some beautiful swatches with you guys today!

I want to apologize for being MIA for awhile. A few weeks ago my computer updated and when I went to write up this Blog post I could not find my photos anywhere...it was very frustrating. I don't like updates where what I've known (my routine of doing things) changes...so I ended up giving up on looking for them and I've kind of dreaded having to go through it all over again to post. So with that and work I haven't felt like posting and I feel bad for that, but I'm back and everything is finally sorted out! Yay! :P

Today I have some beautiful polishes to share with you from LondonTown Lakur. These are part of their Spring Line, and are inspired by Spring Showers and Flowers.

(I apologize for the fuzzy, kind of blurred look my photos have in this post. I'm looking into getting a new camera and lighting set up).

**These polishes were sent to me for review. Please see my Disclosure Policy listed in the Tabs above.**

1-2 coats plus topcoat.

Up first is Water in my Wellies. This is a beautiful deep grey with hints of blue. It is such a beautiful, unique color! I can honestly say I don't have another polish like it.

1-2 coats plus topcoat.

Earl Grey is a beautiful medium-light grey. It has a great formula! It applies super even and self levels.

1-2 coats plus topcoat.

Fog Lifter is the most unique in this collection. In the bottle it looks more like a light taupe color, but once applied I noticed the hint of green. And obviously in the pictures it looks more like a green. But in person it is definitely more of a taupe/brown color.

1-2 coats plus topcoat.

And my personal favorite of the bunch. This is Portobello Plum, a beautiful deep purple. This color is absolutely stunning! It applies a bit darker than it looks in the bottle, but I still love the color.

I have to admit that before I was contacted by LondonTown, I hadn't actually ever heard of them. But I can tell you that I am so so glad they contacted me! They're polishes are absolutely stunning! And the formula for all of them is amazing! They all applied so effortless and smoothly, plus they all self leveled. They dried pretty quickly, and the thing that was most impressive about them was that if you get enough polish on the brush, you could pretty much have full coverage with 1 coat. That makes me super excited to try stamping with these polishes.

And just because the entire line was inspired by Spring, I decided to create a fun Spring Time design with them. I hope you like it :)
