FALL/AUTUMN NAIL ART + VIDEO!!

Good evening! Tonight I have a really fun post to share with you that I'm really excited about it. This is a design that I have kind of had in the back of my mind for a few weeks now and I finally made it! And not only that, but I recorded it! Yup! That's right :) I have a new video up on YouTube!

Click the link below to check out the Video Tutorial:

I started off with a base color using Wet N Wild, LAC - My Mani? and used the Advanced Stamping Technique to create the fun pattern. The colors I used for the stamps were China Glaze, Street Chic, Orly, Coffee Break, Sinful Colors, Exotic Green and Julep, Catrina, Marjorie and Nan.

I finished off with a matte topcoat because I felt it went best with this mani, but you could also do a regular shiny top coat, as shown below.

This design reminds me of those footie pajamas I used to wear as a kid...I think this print just seems like it would go well with those :P

Have a great weekend! Muah! :P

FUN LACQUER PRINCESS COLLECTION 2.0 (PART 2)

Hello again! :) Have you guys been patiently waiting for the second batch of Princess swatches?? ...it's ok if you haven't, but I have :P I've been excited to share the rest of them because they are so pretty!

Aurora has always been one of my favorite Disney Princesses and I think this pink holo is the perfect shade for her! The only thing that would make it even more fun is if it had a hint of blue in there ;)

This green holo is beautiful and represents Tiana so perfectly! The first time I had ever heard of Princess Tiana was when I was going to babysit for a family that had 3 girls. When the parents introduced me to the girls they all started to get really giddy and kept saying "like Princess Tiana!", "she's Princess Tiana!"...and I hadn't seen The Princess and the Frog so I had no idea what they were talking about and why they were so excited. We ended up watching the movie and it all made sense...and now every time I see or hear about Princess Tiana I think of those cute little girls calling me a Princess :P

It's hard for me to pick favorites from this collection because they are all equally stunning, but if I had to choose I think this would make the Top 3. This is Jasmine, another one of my favorite Disney Princesses...and now that I think of it, I literally can't put in order which of the Princesses are my top favorites because, like these polishes, I love them all! :P

Ariel is a real stunner! This color is a tad bit more green in person but the really eye catching thing about this color is that it has a hint of red! It's hard to catch it in photos, but in person this polish is to die for!

Merida is the second polish that really sold me on this collection. I absolutely LOVE Brave! It is one of my all time favorite animated movies! I can actually really relate to Merida because when I was younger I didn't really have a close relationship to my mom. I was (and still am) a daddy's girl. But as I've grown up, my mom and I have become super close, and now I can say she is one of my best friends :)

And last up on the list...I'd be shocked if you can't tell who this is :P This is Princess Anna from Frozen. I really liked all of the photos I saw of this one, it's gorgeous! But, you seriously can't know just how gorgeous it is until you see it in person! I was mesmerized by the color shift in this polish! ...(I feel like I'm going to have an angry Frozen mob pound on my door for saying this) I haven't seen Frozen yet :( I want to though...but even though I haven't seen it, I have seen enough Frozen things (cake & cookie decorating videos, costumes, decorations, etc.), so I know this polish captures Anna perfectly!

So there you have it! 10 of the 12 Princess polishes! The 2 I missed out on were Rapunzel, which is a stunning purple (I'm super sad about missing that one!) and Cinderella, another stunning blue. Each of these polishes were swatched with 2 coats, although most of the darker colors could probably go on opaque in 1 thick coat if you're careful. And all are topped with ND Lacquers Quick-Dry Topcoat.

I would love for everyone to be able to buy these gorgeous polishes but sadly they were Limited Edition. I honestly think they should be part of Fun Lacquers permanent polishes because for 1: No one will ever get sick of holo polishes, and 2: No one will ever get sick of Disney Princess. That's a good enough reason, right!?

So any who, which polish is your favorite? And who's your favorite Disney Princess is your favorite?

FUN LACQUER PRINCESS COLLECTION 2.O (PART 1)

HELLO!! :D How are you doing this week!? I know it's only Monday, and most people don't like Mondays so I'm hoping to change that for you today if you're day isn't going so great ;)

Today I'm sharing some STUNNING polishes from Fun Lacquer...Literally the second I saw swatches of these polishes I fell in Love!! I knew I had to have them! And if you didn't guess already, these polishes were inspired by the Disney Princesses, which is another reason I love them :) ...and just a heads up, there are more than just these four! I have 10 polishes from the entire collection, which consists of 12 polishes. And honestly, I'm super bummed that I missed out on 2. Seriously bummed. But overall, I'm super excited about these colors! So lets get into it!

First up is Belle. This is a gorgeous golden-yellow :) I have a lot of gold polishes, but I can't say that I have a gold holo. And I like it!

When I first saw photos of the entire collection this was one of the colors that even though I thought it was pretty, I just wasn't all that excited about it...and boy was wrong not to be! Mulan is stunning! I was so mesmerized with this polish that I didn't want to take it off!

*Insert "Colors of the Wind" here* ;D Obviously that's a dead giveaway! This is Pocahontas :) Another very beautiful polish I wasn't too sure about, which I actually totally love!

This polish was the icing on the cake for me. I literally went weak in the knees when I saw this polish! ...is that lame!? Lol! I don't think so...I'm sure everyone has had a moment like that :P Anywho...if you haven't guessed, this is Snow White. The only thing I'm going to say about this polish is that if you don't have a white holo, you sure need to get your hands on one!

What do you think so far!? Don't worry if you didn't see one you like, cuz all of the fun colors are coming up next!

Stay tuned for my Part 2 with the rest of the swatches :)

HALLOWEEN NAILS

Happy Sunday! I hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween :) I apologize I didn't get the opportunity to post my Halloween Nails sooner here on the Blog, but I wanted to make sure that if you don't follow me on Facebook and Instagram you could still see the fun designs I created :)

These were the first Halloween Nails I created after being Inspired by a video on Instagram by @banicured. They were really fun and pretty simple...I didn't get to wear them for long though because my Husband was really grossed out by them :P

Next up are my Zombie Nails! I wanted to do something simple with these and I can't believe how fast they were to create. The stamp I used was from Bunny Nails Holiday Plates.

If you read each of my Blog posts you may have already seen these. This is a swatch from the Doctor Lacquers Chromozones Collection, called "The Trail of Time". I added the gorgeous spider charm from Winstonia store because I thought that the purple/blue color would look amazing with the gold and pearl!

:D My 'Haunted Forest' nails! This was my absolute favorite design this year! I had an image in my mind and it came to life so easily! Then to really make this design pop I added Ghosts (shown below).

Stamps by Bunny Nails, Holiday set.

After the fun Ghost nails I wanted to take a break from the really Halloween-y designs, so I opted for this really fun, simple polka dot design.

Have you ever had a nail design (or hair, makeup look, etc.) pop into your head and you just have to recreate it? That's what this one was...It didn't quite turn out the way I had envisioned it, but I still think it's really cute!

The stud makes the design really come to life :) ...unfortunately I couldn't wear the stud longer than taking pictures because it's a hallow charm and my nails are super curved so there really wasn't any surface area of the charm to stick to my nail :(

And last up! This is the design I rocked on Halloween :P ...I only say it that way because I didn't dress up so obviously my nails had to be! Hahah! This is the second set of Nail Wraps I purchased from NCLA...you can see my first set (The Sugar Skulls) in my previous post, here.

And that's it! I hope you guys enjoyed these designs as much as I did! Feel free to Pin them onto your Pinterest boards so you can recreate them next year or just follow my boards!
