SPRING NAIL ART USING SINFUL COLORS SUGAR RUSH

I am so excited to show you guys my first Spring design for this year! I am in LOVE with it!! :P I started off doing this design for a contest on Instagram, and even though I wasn't one of the finalists for the contest, it is my absolute Favorite!!

I started off by painting my thumb, pointer and ring fingers with Sinful Colors, Snow Me White and then painted my middle finger with Cotton Candy and my pinkie with Sugar Rush. After waiting for 2 coats to dry I started with my pointer finger and using Cotton Candy, Sugar Rush, Snow Me White and Silky Polish, Tussah Sunglow (which isn't very noticeable) I did a water marble. While I waited for that to dry I used my dotting tools to add white dots to my middle and pinkie fingers. Once those 3 fingers were dry I quickly added a top coat of Seche Vite so that I would not be able to mess up the nails :P (because I probably would have cried lol).

For the flowers you can use any color you would like, just pick a light shade and a darker shade of the same color. For the darker shades I used Essie, Ole Caliente, Ulta, Celebutante, China Glaze, Sky High-Top and Sinful Colors, Sugar N Spice. Start with the center of your flower (I used Silky Polish, Tussah Sunglow) and using each color and my striping brush I created five petals. Once those colors were dry I took the lighter colors (Sinful Colors, Orange Cream, Sweet Tooth, Sugar Rush and Cotton Candy) and did the exact same thing over the top of the darker colors leaving a little bit of the darker color showing at the edge of each petal. Then using O.P.I. Hot Fun in the Summerlime and my striping brush I painted stems/vines and a few leaves in the empty spaces. Once that dried I used Sinful Colors, Innocent and filled in the leaves the same way I filled in the flowers. For the final touch I added China Glaze, Fairy Dust (If you do not own this polish you need it! It is a polish that if you don't quite feel like your nail design is finished, you add one coat of this and it pulls everything together!). Then apply your top coat and your done!

I hope those instructions are simple enough to follow for those of you who would like to try this design :) I have to admit even though this design looks complicated, it was easier to do than it looks.

What do you guys think!? Please feel free to comment below and let me know your thoughts! :) Do you like it? Would you wear this on your nails?
