Hi Lovelies!

I've done a few designs recently which I have been holding onto because I wanted to share them all together, and I'm so excited to share them with you right now!

Recently, I received a bunch of fun water decals and stickers from Born Pretty Store and I can't believe how beautiful the designs are! So let me just get into it, I hope you guys enjoy these designs as much as I do! ;)

**These products were sent to me for review. Please see my Disclosure Policy listed in the Tabs above.**

All of these decals come in a pack together (clink link above to see full images). I love all of the designs and was so happy to use them! Plus they're so affordable! All 6 sheets are available on Born Pretty Store website for $1.59 (regular price $2.19) ...seriously if you have not shopped on Born Pretty Store website yet, what are you waiting for? They have every nail art item you could ever want and they're so well priced! Plus they just opened up a new warehouse here in the US! :D

First decal sheet I used was the Blue Floral Butterflies. I really like the mix of florals with the butterflies, and if you have been following me for awhile you know I love blue nails, so how would I not love this design!? I also wanted to make this design pop even more by adding a few different blue rhinestones. I received a lot of compliments on this design, and it lasted for almost 2 weeks!

This has to be my favorite design of the 3 to be honest. I have been loving the palm leaf trend lately, especially paired with pink so this design just had me! I was really sad to have used all of the palm leaves from the decal sheet on this one design, because I want to use them again, but it's ok...I will be ordering them again! ;P lol.

I debated using this floral design for weeks before I actually did. I wanted to come up with the most beautiful design...I wanted to utilize this decal set in the best way possible to show off how beautiful it is...and then I finally just decided the best way to do that was to just use the full designs (I debated using one or 2 of the images and having plain colors on other nails, like the palm leaf design).

When I completed the design and added a topcoat I just loved how it looked! But at the same time it looked so busy, so I tried to tone it down a bit with a matte topcoat and in person it looks amazing, but the photos definitely look better with the shiny topcoat.

I'd love to know which design is your favorite?

If you like these designs and aren't quite sure how to use them, head over to my Instagram (@playfulpolishes), I did a quick pictorial to show how easy they are to use.

Good Morning!

I have some fun stickers to share with you guys today! :) For any of you that don't have time, money or patience for nails, I would highly recommend these stickers. All you have to be able to do is paint your nails with any polish of your choice, apply the stickers and then seal them in with a topcoat! Super simple!

**This product was sent to me for review. Please see my Disclosure Policy listed in the tabs above.**

I applied a base color of Royal Polish Everlasting Meadow, and once that was dry I applied the stickers using tweezers (Tip: Make sure your polish is completely dry before applying the stickers just in case you need to move them). Once you're happy with the placement you can topcoat with a shiny or matte topcoat. I opted for matte :)

There you go! Super fun, simple summer design! :D The best part of this design was wearing it out shopping and I happened across luggage in Ross that had the exact same images on it! That was fun to see, and perfect for a photo ;)

(See my Instagram page for a photo of my nails w/the luggage).

You can find these stickers on and I've included the link to these exact stickers underneath the first photo. If you do place an order (and you should cuz the stickers are only $0.99!!) make sure to use my coupon code for an additional 10% off!

 Hi Lovelies!

Have you ever wanted Bees or Wasps on your nails? ...not really the first thing that comes to mind, right? Especially if you're like me and get chased off of your patio by wasps whenever you try to sit outside...But, I might change your mind today ;) lol.

**These products were sent to me for review. Please see my Disclosure Policy listed in the tabs above.**

So when I first unboxed these plates I saw the wasp image and wondered why you'd want to put a wasp on your nails...but then I saw the honeycomb image and had this design pop into my head. I still wasn't quite wanting to do a wasp mani first, because there are other images I really wanted to use (like the full nail leaf image), but I kept coming back to the wasp design, and I'm glad I did! I was able to do this design fairly quickly because I knew how I wanted to do it and I love the way it turned out!

The products I used for this design were China Glaze Happy Go Lucky, Royal Polish Little Peep, Sinful Colors Snow Me White and Funky Fingers Black Knight, topped off with a matte topcoat. Both images are from the plate shown below, Animal World ND-004.

I have been really impressed with Nicole Diary's stamping plates! They have beautiful, unique images that are etched in really well, which makes them easy to use. I didn't have any problems picking the images up with a only problem was that the images are so well etched in that my cotton balls make a mess...but that's my fault for using jumbo cotton balls LOL :P

Anywho, I hope you like this design! You can find this plate and others at and make sure to use my 10% off coupon code at checkout, PFPS10.

Happy Memorial Day!
I have a few fun products to share with you guys today :)

I was recently contacted by Nicole Diary, a company specializing in Nail stamps, as well as other nail art goodies, to review a few of their products. I hope you guys enjoy them!

**These products were sent to me for review. Please see my Disclosure Policy listed in the tabs above.**

I have been loving the Aurora powder nails I've been seeing all over Instagram lately (you may have also seen it as Pearl powder, Unicorn powder, Mermaid powder, etc. they're pretty much all the same thing). Until now I have not tried it out for myself...and now that I have I can honestly say that I love it even more!

I started off with a gradient base using China Glaze At Your Athleisure & Glamletics, then applied the Powder. I didn't want to use a gel base or top coat so I decided to try using the powder while the polish was a little tacky and it worked really well and surprisingly went on very evenly.

One major tip I have for you when using any nail powder: Use a barrier of any kind around your cuticles to save time on clean up. This would have taken me a long time to clean up had I not used a liquid latex.

And of course I didn't stop there! :P I had to add some fun stamping over the top (because, why  not? lol), so I used the Whale Stamping Plate and Sinful Colors Snow Me White.

I was very happy with this stamp because as you can tell the lines are very thin, which can sometimes make the image hard to pick up, but I was able to get every line and detail of each whale!

You can find these products and many more at, and use code PFPS10 for 10% off your entire order.

Aurora Powder: #214 (there are 3 options to choose from. I chose #1)
Whale plate: ND-L003

I hope you all have a safe and happy Holiday!

I'm sure by now you have heard of Wish right?
It's a shopping app that has incredibly low prices! ...I've watched several YouTube videos from people who have bought wedding dresses, clothes, hair extensions, etc. on Wish, and review the products and let you know if it's really worth spending your money, even though it's so inexpensive...and now I have some Thermal Nail Polishes to test out for you guys! :)
*Fingers crossed!*

I was contacted by someone selling on Wish to review some Thermal polishes from their store, and I decided to give them a try. I picked out 4 polishes and to be honest, I did not have high expectations of them at all! It's not that I don't believe Wish has good products. It's more like, I don't see how something so cheap could be good quality. So let me share with you my opinion of these thermal polishes.

**These products were sent to me for review. Please see my Disclosure Policy listed in the tabs above.**

Up first is this fun Pink to Purple thermal polish (It's purple when it's cold and pink when it's warm). This is the first one I tested and I was extremely surprised by how well the colors change! I've tested some thermal polishes before and felt like you had to dip your hands in ice cold water to boiling water in order to see the smallest change (I didn't actually ever put my hand in boiling water, but you probably get the point. LOL). But this one was noticeable the minute I applied the first coat!

Next is this gorgeous Sky Blue to Periwinkle blue. I absolutely Loved this color change!! The 2 colors are bold and impressive and so eye catching!

I want to say this is my favorite one...but I love the first 3 that I seriously think it's a tie between all of them :P This one changes from a very light grey (almost white) to a darker grey, and again, it doesn't take extreme changes in temperature to see the changes.

This is the only 1 of the 4 polishes I was disappointed with. I feel like it would be really pretty, but maybe the formula is wrong, because it doesn't match the pictures in the Wish store (see image below). It's almost like it could be a sheer polish to opaque, which would be fun as well, but it's too streaky to even be a pretty sheer polish.

This is how it should change. So you can tell something might be wrong with the polish I have.

Overall, I really loved these polishes! (minus the last one). They applied easily in 2-3 coats, they dried fast and of course they changed colors within seconds, literally! The only reason I used ice water to change the colors is so I could get good photos of the thermal shift...but if you want to wear the polish and enjoy the color shift, you absolutely can, because my hands were cold when I applied the polish, and then I walked outside in the sun and they instantly changed colors :D that was really fun to watch ;)

If I were to rate these polishes I would probably give them a 4/5 just because of the black polish, they seem like they could be hit or miss...but because they are so inexpensive I think that bumps them up to 5/5. You can't go wrong when they're so inexpensive!

You can find all of these Thermal polishes and more...including Glitter Thermal polishes for $1 each! here: Wish Thermal Polish, and if you try them out let me know what you think!

Hello again!

Have  you guys ever seen 3D Nail Charms/Decorations that you think are cute but you have absolutely no idea how its possible to wear them? Because that was me with these decorations :P ...but, I decided I really wanted to figure something out. So I'll let you know how I did it, just in case you ever decide you want to give them a try.

**These products were sent to me for review. Please see my Disclosure Policy listed in the tabs above.**

Direct link --> 3D Pearls
Direct link --> 3D Rhinestones

I've always seen other people use 3D Pearls and 3D rhinestones (that don't have a flat surface), and wondered, "how the heck do they attach them to their nails!?" ...have you ever seen them and thought the same thing?

I had them sitting around for a month or two and thought about using them a few times before I actually did. So, when I finally decided I was going to use them I decided to go through Instagram and find pictures of other people who have used them and see how they may have attached it to their nails (or hope they mentioned it in their post ;P). @red_iguana_ on Instagram has great videos of how to attach decorations btw.

I decided to do this cute design using one of the new China Glaze Chic Physique polishes. This is Pretty Fit, I applied 2 coats over all of my nails and then stamped Sinful Colors Snow Me White over my thumb, index and middle fingers using Born Pretty Store stamping plate BP-L020.

Once the polish was dry I placed some nail glue (a generous amount) onto the top section of my ring finger where I wanted to place the decorations. I first attached the 2 pearls side by side, and then placed the rhinestones (tip facing in towards pearls) directly in between the spaces above and below the pearls. It didn't quite look complete, so I added these mini silver ball decorations around the edge of the pearls and then took a small paint brush with some topcoat and went around the bottom edges of the decorations (I did not place topcoat over the top). After that was done I quickly and carefully applied topcoat to the rest of the nail.

Then to bring the design together I placed some of the silver ball decorations in the center of the flowers of the lace design, and then I did put topcoat over those decorations because they are small and I felt that if I didn't seal them in they would pop off the first time something touched them.

I wanted to keep these on for awhile to test out how well the decorations would stay on, and I must say that it worked really well! I had them on for a week and not one of the decorations on the ring finger came off (and I work in a Dental office where I wash my hands and wear gloves a lot!). I did have a few of the single silver balls pop off after a few days, but those are easy to pop back on.

So, if you're like me and have been wanting to give 3D charms a try, but you've been hesitant, I suggest you try it! Just make sure you use some nail glue and seal the edges and I think it should last you a good while! ;)  (oh and btw, when I did take them off, it came off in one whole piece!).

If you like these pearls and rhinestones I included direct links below the pictures near the top of this post. But you can find them here as well:, and make sure to use the code "PLAY" for 10% off of your entire order.

Let me know what you think of this design in the comments below and also if you'd like to see a tutorial on my YouTube channel!
