FLORAL SKULL NAIL ART/BIG BEAUTY BANG WATER DECALS

Happy Sunday!
I hope you're having a great day :)

Today I have some beautiful Water decals to share with you from Big Beauty Bang.

These decals are stunning because they combine flowers with skulls and they just work really well together! The moment I saw them I knew I would have to show my mom and most likely create a design for her as well...so this post is a double nail art post, since I have 2 designs to show you! ;)

**These products were sent to me for review. Please see my Disclosure Policy listed in the tabs above.**

I didn't want to use all of the decals on myself since the designs are so intricate. I felt if I used all of them at one time the design would look really busy and it would take away from how beautiful each image is...plus by not using them all on myself I was able to give my mom an awesome nail art design as well! ...She was very happy about that! Lol!

(I realize this isn't the best macro photo, but I at least wanted you guys to be able to see the skull in this design).

The bigger skull designs are absolutely amazing!! The pink skull has a crown, that unfortunately was cut off on both nails because its a large decal. And the other two are just as beautiful! I think that by using white on one nail with a pop of pink on the other was enough to tone it down a bit, while at the same time accentuating the skulls and really bringing the whole design together.

Aren't they stunning!?

You can find these skulls here: Floral/Skull Water Decals, and btw right now they are on sale for $0.99!! Plus, use my coupon code TNNA for an additional 10% off!!

BEAUTY BIG BANG WATER DECAL REVIEW AND VIDEO

Good afternoon Lovelies!

I'm back with a fun review and video for you guys! :) I was recently contacted by BeautyBigBang to review some products. BeautyBigBang is a beauty retailer specializing in all kinds of cosmetics and nail art products. You can check out their site here: https://www.beautybigbang.com

I also decided to create a short video for you guys, which you can view on my YouTube channel -Playful Polishes.

**These products were sent to me for review. Please see my Disclosure Policy in the Tabs above. **

Get these decals for yourself here: here

These decals were really easy to use and the designs are gorgeous and so detailed!

I opted not to use all of the decals at once (this makes them last longer and makes it so you can create multiple looks with one set of decals). I also didn't use one set on one hand and the other set on the other (as shown in the decal pic), I decided to combine the similar images so that the designs on one hand would be the same...and then I added some colorful rhinestones and a matte topcoat to make the design pop!

I really enjoyed creating this look! And I have received a lot of compliments on my nails :)

If you would like to recreate this look for yourself I created a short video to show you how to apply the decals, and the rest is pretty simple. See how to create this look here.

Check out BeautyBigBang for more fun nail art supplies and use code TNNA for 10% off!!

WRENN POLISH SWATCH & REVIEW WITH UNICORN NAIL ART!!

Hello lovelies!!

I sincerely apologize for the lack of posts. I have been super busy so far this year! If you follow me on IG you may have read that I started a new full-time job in January as well as started Dental Assisting School in March so I haven't had much time to do my nails...obviously I have still been doing them at least once a week when I find the time (it's kind of a relaxing/balancing thing for me to do :P plus I can't stand when my nails grow out and look like they need some TLC), so I've kept up with posting on IG, but haven't been able to post much anywhere else.

But I am excited to have some new, beautiful polishes to share with you guys today! :D

These polishes I'm going to be sharing with you are from Wrenn Polish...and if you have never heard of Wrenn Polish you are really missing out! Not only do they have some beautiful nail polishes...they also have some of the most beautiful gemstone jewelry!! I don't wear a lot of jewelry myself, but I seriously want 1 of everything they have in their store! :P So I highly recommend checking out her website if you are a polish lover and/or a jewelry lover: www.shopwrenn.com

Now let's get into these polishes!

**These polishes were sent to me for review. Please see my Disclosure Policy listed in the Tabs above. **

Up first is Green with Wrennvy, a stunning teal green shimmer polish.
The application was very smooth and was mostly opaque with 1 coat, I used 2 to ensure full coverage...and I have to tell you that I did not want to take this polish off once I put it on! The shimmer is stunning and the color is just so fun and eye catching :D

Next up we have Passionfruit Pink, a lovely nude/pink with gold shimmer. The way the light makes the gold pop out with this pink makes it such a fun and unique polish! I can tell already that it is definitely one I will wear often.

I'm a sucker for these deep red/purple colors and this one had me like Jim Carrey in The Mask when his eyes are popping out of his head! HAHAHA! I'm not sure what it is about this shade of red polishes, because I'm not the biggest fan of regular red polish...but I definitely love this one!

This is Uncorked, and was almost completely opaque with 1 coat, I applied 2 to ensure full coverage.

And last up...this is Happy Thoughts, an absolutely GORGEOUS purplish/pink holo! Now I just have to tell you that I have other holo polishes and powders that I think are beautiful and I really like them...but I don't have one that has a colored tint to it like this one does, so this one just has me in a puddle on the floor lol thats literally the best way to describe it! haha I just love it...and the pictures don't even do it enough justice!

I included a sun shot of this polish (below) and even though its a great photo that shows all of the rainbow colors in the polish, it doesn't capture how amazing this polish really is...which means you'll just have to get it for yourself to see ;)

So once I saw this polish I automatically knew it was the perfect base for some Unicorn stamping from my new Stamping plate from Born Pretty Store.
What do you think?

So there you have it! 4 Beautiful polishes from Wrenn polish. I am beyond impressed with these polishes! I knew they were beautiful when I first saw photos of them, but they just blew me away when I swatched them...and I'm honestly not just saying that. I would absolutely recommend you grab any of these polishes because they are great quality, they apply so easily, they're stunning and they are very unique which makes them even more fun!

Grab any of these polishes and more plus lots of fun jewelry at www.wrennpolish.com and make sure to follow them on IG as well!

3 SIMPLE & ELEGANT NEW YEARS NAIL DESIGNS!!

Hello lovelies! I'm back with 3 Beautiful Nail Designs for New Years! :D

These designs are elegant, chic and best of all, very simple! I didn't use any special nail tools or products...just kept it simple ;) So I hope you like them!

First up is this gorgeous white and silver Glitter Gradient! All you need for this design is a white polish and a silver glitter. No tools required! And just a quick tip if you decide to try this out, wipe off your brush of most of the glitter before you start applying it. It will be easier to get the look your going for without putting too much glitter on your nail all at once.

Next up is a similar design using black and gold nail polish and reinforcement tabs from my local office supply store (if you don't know what those are click here to check them out). You definitely don't need the tabs to do this design, you can also use French Nail Design stickers, Liquid Nail Tape or even just regular tape cut into a semi-circle.

And last up...for those of you who may not want to go with the typical black, white, gold and silver...here is another option. I really wanted to do a nude New Years design and I like the way this one turned out. I didn't want to use more glitter, but I kind of wanted the same effect, so I went for gold foil. This can be found at most Beauty Supply stores and possibly Walmart, Target, Walgreens etc.

Ok, now this is what I'm really excited about! ;D If you're like me and you LOVE matte nails, I strongly encourage you to matte these designs! They look so chic and they're so eye catching!

So there you have it! 3 Simple & Elegant designs for New Years! ...Or anytime! That's what I love about these designs. They are perfect for any time of the year, and you can mix and match with literally any base color and any glitter! So try it out and I guarantee you will find a combination you absolutely love! ;)

If you would like to see how I created these designs you're in luck! I created a 3 in 1 Tutorial which is posted below, just hit play!

(All products used are listed in the Description box under my YouTube Tutorial).

I hope you liked these designs and if you try them please share them with me in the comments or tag me on Facebook or Instagram!

Have a Wonderful New Year!!

CHRISTMAS/WINTER NAIL ART

Hey there! :)

Are you guys ready for the Holidays?? I am...even though here in Texas it doesn't feel like it's anywhere close to Winter. But that's ok, because my nails make me feel a little bit closer ;) I hope you guys enjoy these designs as much as I do and please feel free to leave a suggestion down below if there are specific Holiday designs you'd like to see :)

I created this design using 2 coats of OPI Infinite Shine Funny Bunny and then stamped snowflakes using Sinful Colors Snow Me White and Bundle Monster stamping plate BM-S216. I added a touch of glitter with Jior Couture's Holo at Me 3 glitter topcoat and then added some iridescent glitters to the center of each snowflake. It's a really elegant, yet subtle design :)

I came up with this design last night and fell in love with the way it turned out! I wanted to do something Christmas related but didn't want to spend a lot of time doing my nails, so I picked out a couple colors and was going through my Christmas stamps when I came across this image from Winstonia plate W120 and knew what I wanted to do :)

The polishes I used Royal Polish Robin's Egg, Sinful Colors Snow Me White and Essie No More Film. I opted for no topcoat as well because I really liked the way the design looked without it.

And finally, this fun Neutral Christmas Design was inspired by @just1nail.

The products I used were Sinful Colors Snow Me White, Funky Fingers Black Knight, LVX The Full Monty and black and white acrylic paint.

I hope you all have a Wonderful Holiday Season! And please check back here for more fun Christmas designs :) Also if you're not already following me on Instagram or Facebook make sure you do so you don't miss out on any of my fun designs :)

CUTE HALLOWEEN NAILS

Hello Lovelies! I hope you're as excited about Halloween nails as I am ;) They're always so fun to create! I hope you like these!

The products I used for this design are Bliss Polish Reznikov, Sinful Colors Snow Me White and Black on Black. The stamping images are from Winstonia plate W221.

If you don't follow me on Facebook or Instagram, this is probably the first time you're seeing my new nail shape! I'm so surprised with myself that I actually did it, but I have LOVED the Coffin/Ballerina shape...so about a week ago I had the sudden urge that I really needed to change my nails, and I did! It's not too different, obviously...but I've had square nails for so long that it's weird to get used to this style. I thought after a few days I'd probably hate it, but I've grown to love it even more every day!

This is the base look of the design before I added the black and white images. I thought it would make a pretty, simple Halloween design all by itself :)

The colors I used for this design are a green, orange and purple stamping polishes from Born Pretty Store, Royal Polish Everlasting Meadow, Little Peep, China Glaze Happy Go Lucky, U-neek Polish Dark Angel, Sinful Colors TempestSnow Me White and Funky Fingers Black Knight. The stamping images are all from Bunny Nails plate HD-C.

If you would like to see how I created this design you can watch my YouTube tutorial here:

Let me know if you have any Halloween requests!
