DASHING HOUSEWIFE POLISH SWATCHES & REVIEW

Good evening :) I apologize I've been MIA for the past few days, I've been crazy busy with wedding planning. I promise to post what I can, but until after the wedding I probably won't post as much. But please don't go anywhere…I like having you guys here :)

Tonight's post is all about Dashing Housewife Polish. I have 6 beautiful polishes from DreAnn, and I have to say Thank you to her for sending me some of her polishes.

**These polishes were sent to me for review. Please see my Disclosure Policy listed in the tabs above.**

First up is Pegasus Fluff. A white base with blue, purple, and some pink glitters. I was able to get full opacity with 2 coats, but I applied 3 because I like the way it looks with more glitters :)

This is Pink Is The New White…possibly my favorite out of the bunch! It's a beautiful pale pink with purple shimmers. I couldn't quite catch the shimmers with my camera but they are there and they are beautiful! 2-3 coats.

No Luck Needed is a lime green polish with blue shimmers, it's very similar to a polish I recently swatched by Rain City Lacquer, called Green Grotto. The only difference is the shade of green. I prefer Green Grotto, but this color is beautiful! I was able to get this look with 2 coats.

Meet Me On The Dancefloor is an extremely fun polish! I want to say that it's a crelly but I'm not positive…so don't quote me on that. But if it is, it is one of the best ones I've swatched so far! :) The white base is opaque in 2 coats and the glitters are bright neon blue, lime green and pink in multiple sizes and shapes.

Ok I know I already said my favorite…but this one is right up there as well :D 10 Min. To Midnight is a beautiful deep purple (crelly?)…with silver glitters. The formula is amazing and I was able to get complete opacity with only 2 coats.

And the last one up is The Ole' Pot, a beautiful black polish with dark green shimmer, and yes if you wondered if this was a St. Patty's Day polish, it is…I know it's a little late but I still love it! The first coat was slightly sheer, but the second was extremely opaque.

I love each one of these polishes. I think DreAnn did an amazing job! If you would like any of these polishes you can find them at her website www.DashingHousewife.com…as of today it is down. I know that she just had a baby, so I also want to wish her a big Congratulations! I hope everything went well. Please show her your support by following her on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/DashingHousewifePolish, and Instagram: @dashing_housewifepolish.

EASTER NAIL ART!

Happy Easter! I hope you all have had a chance to enter my Giveaway :) If not you can find all of the details on my previous post --> Nail Polish Giveaway!!

Today I have my Easter mani to share with you. I haven't been able to do a whole lot of nail art lately because I'm in the middle of planning my wedding…so please forgive me. I will do the best I can to continue posting swatches and nail art :)

For my left hand I used Sinful Colors, Snow Me White as a base, then using a make up sponge I made the gradient with Royal Polish, Carnation Creation and Little Peep. I loved the way one layer of the gradient looked so I didn't make it any darker, although I probably should have because it's kind of hard to notice the stamp...also I forgot to put on cuticle oil before taking my pictures :S

For my right hand, I started off with the same white polish as a base, and then sponged on Royal Polish, Robin's Egg and Everlasting Meadow. The stamp on both hands is from a Givaway I won by Bunny Nails :) I was super excited about it! And it came just in time for me to do this fun Easter design.

I hope you all have a wonderful Easter!

If you would like purchase any plates by Bunny Nails you can find them here:
All of the polishes by Royal Polish can be found here:
I bought the bows from Amazon.

ALCHEMY LACQUERS SPRING FORWARD COLLECTION

Happy Friday! Do you guys have anything fun planned for the weekend?? I usually don't do much on the weekends, but this weekend is different :) This weekend my fiance and I are driving up to Seattle to watch Supercross! I couldn't be anymore excited! I haven't ever done anything like this so it's a new experience for me…and Seattle is one of those places that is on my Bucket list so it will be so fun to finally go there and explore :)

Before I leave I do have a few polishes to share with you ;) These polishes are from Alchemy Lacquers, they are part of her new Spring Forward Collection which will be released tomorrow! This collection consists of a few creams, some crellies (which are still knew to me. I'm still getting the hang of the formula), and also some glitter bombs. I know she is very excited about this collection (as she should be!) and I'm very excited that I get to be apart of helping swatch for the release.

**These polishes were sent to me for review. Please see my Disclosure Policy listed in the tabs above.**

Wisteria, Daffodil, Nasturtium, Crocus, Lavendula, Hyacinthus, Borage, Gilded Hyacinth, Potion No. 1 and Potion No. 2.

First up is Wisteria. This is a beautiful light purple cream with small purple and silver flecks. It''s almost opaque in 1 coat, 2 works great, but because my nails are long I added a 3rd just to make sure the entire nail was opaque (sometimes the tip of my nail still looks a little see through after 2 coats). After swatching all of the colors, this one turned out to be my favorite :)

Daffodil is the one that really caught my eye first, it's a pale yellow glitter crellie with some shimmer. It has pale and golden yellow glitters in multiple shapes. 3 coats is fully opaque but I wasn't patient enough to let each coat dry so it turned out very thick :S (oops) …so I redid it and applied 2 coats over Royal Polish, Little Peep. It was still slightly thick, so I wonder if maybe it wasn't my application, but a little thinner will even it right out! Overall I do still love it though…I'm a sucker for pale yellow polishes.

Nasturtium is another one that caught my eye, this is a very, very light orange crellie with red, orange and yellow glitters in multiple shapes and sizes. I think this one is very cute! Not very many Indie Brands have included orange into their Spring lines, so I was very happy to see this one. 2-3 coats  for complete opaqueness.

Lavendula is a very light lavender crellie with multiple sized purple, blue and silver glitters. 2-3 coats for opaqueness. This one is very cute :) I love the purple and blue together…the photos look like the polish might be a little thick, which I think is just the way the crellie polish looks because the application was actually pretty even and smooth.

Crocus is a light purple crellie with multiple size purple, yellow and silver glitters. The yellow glitters kind of add to this color and make it pop without taking over the other colors, and I really like the base color of this one, it's like a soft, pink-ish purple. 2-3 coats.

Hyacinthus is actually a purple crellie base (despite the photos looking blue) with purple, blue, light blue, green and silver glitters in multiple shapes and sizes. I used 3 thin coats and the glitters spread out very nice and evenly, I didn't have to do glitter placement with any of these colors. The base of this one is a little bit more sheer than the other colors, I think it might pop if it was layered over another color.

Borage is light blue crellie with light blue, blue, green, purple and silver multiple sized glitters. I'm not sure what I did to make these photos turn out kind of orange :( I'll have to be careful of that…3 thin coats for full coverage.

Potion No. 1 is pink, yellow, white, orange and red multi sized glitter bomb. I used 1 coat over Royal Polish, Little Peep. I thought about layering this one over the top of an orange, but I'm glad I used the yellow because it makes all of the colors stand out! And I love the color combo…the only thing I'd like a little bit more about this one is if when I applied it it didn't have so many glitters with just one coat. If there were a little bit less glitters and they were spread out evenly over the nail this polish would be a home run for me! Overall it is still very cute :)

Gilded Hyacinth is a silver (chrome?) glitter with pink, purple and blue glitters. I used 2 coats, which was completely opaque…I do have to admit that this polish is Gorgeous, even though it's not really my cup of tea.

And last up is Potion No. 2. This is a fun pink, blue and green glitter bomb. I used 1 coat over KBShimmer, Pansy-Monium.

I totally love that these polishes are named after flowers! I think that Rebecca, from Alchemy Lacquers did a great job! If you would like to pick up any of these colors for yourself you can do so tomorrow evening at http://www.etsy.com/shop/alchemylacquers

ALY'S DREAM POLISH SWATCH & REVIEW

Two posts in one day! I'm on a roll! :P …not really, I'm just catching myself up on the stuff I've been up to this week :) These polishes were surprise swatch mail…meaning I had no idea they were coming :P (which is fun!) and I am IN LOVE!!!

Aly's Dream specializes in cosmetics and holo polishes…and let me warn you now, they certainly do SPECIALIZE in holo polishes! :P …I say it like that because I have been sent some amazing holos over the past few weeks, but in all honesty, these are the best ones so far! The other ones are still amazing but as soon as I opened up the packaging on these ones I just about fell over! The holo is STUNNING!!

**These polishes were sent to me for review. Please see my Disclosure Policy located in the tabs above.**

So…let me introduce you to UnbleachedTiffanytea and Super Cherry ;)

(Total side note: I LOVE the bottles! The caps are the perfect length, the shape of the bottle is unique and the brushes are very nice and flexible).

Unbleached is a beautiful champagne holo. I applied 2-3 coats for opacity. The formula is amazing, it's nice and smooth and very easy to apply.

Up next is Tiffany Tea, a gorgeous blue holo…yes I do love this one! ;P This is from the Macaron Collection, which is a Limited Edition set. Each polish in the collection is $12, and there are so many cute colors in the collection! I recommend you check it out ;)
 2-3 coats for opacity.

And last up is Super Cherry, which is my absolute favorite! I don't have any other pink holo (or even glitter) polishes like this one. It is so gorgeous! I kept this one on for about 2-3 days by itself because I love it so much! :P It was almost completely opaque in 1 coat, 2 was perfect.

Now before I flash you (wink, wink), I'm going to warn you that you're probably going to want to buy these polishes after seeing these photos :P (I think you'd be crazy not to lol!).

Unbleached

Tiffanytea

Super Cherry

DID I NOT TELL YOU THEY ARE STUNNING!!?
The top photos don't do these colors any justice…but the flash catches the holo and the true colors so well! Each of these polishes are so eye catching!

I think it is very safe to say that Aly's Dream Polish has moved up to one of my top favorite Indie Brand polishes! I am very grateful and have to say a big Thank You to Aly's Dream Polish for sending me these beautiful polishes.

Super Cherry and Unbleached can be found under the 'Holographic Euphoria' tab on Aly's Dream Website, and as metioned above Tiffanytea is part of the Macaron Collection, which is another tab on Aly's Dream Website.
