I first saw this design a few months ago when I was watching YouTube videos on nail art (it's one of my favorite past times :P). The YouTuber who posted the video is Cult Cosmetics, and the design is their design inspired by The Great Gatsby. I Highly recommend watching the video! Their nails turned out absolutely flawless!
You might think I'm crazy but when I was getting closer to finishing this design I was kind of disappointed with the result. Here's why: I don't have studs smaller than the ones pictured so they seem a little to big for this design. Also, the silver polish I used on my pointer finger and thumb is gross. Lol! I know...I just don't like that it doesn't match the consistency of the gold, like in the video. But the more that I look at the design, I do love it! I'd prefer to just paint the silver part gold, but overall, now that I've acclimated to it I love it! :)
The polishes I used were China Glaze, Liquid Leather, White On White, Passion and nc2 by Nu Colour, Lighting. I have no idea where I got the nc2 polish, I know I have had it for a long time! It's probably one of my first polishes, and I've barely used it. It's not that I don't like it, I've just always like bright, fun colors on my nails until now (now that I'm into nail art), and I don't use silver a whole lot.
